Ok, here it is: the traveling easter basket
While knitting it, I decided to make it without handle so I could easily mail it (because it is going over seas) and because I had only bought one skein of yarn, it would have to be not that high. Sorry, I did not take a picture, right before I tossed it in the washer to felt, but let me assure you, I wasn’t quite sure how it would turn out, so I crossed my fingers for 45 minutes and then pulled it out. After pulling it in shape a little and stuffing it with kleenex so it can dry, I really started to like it. I am off to buy tissue paper and will be back later with pictures.
Here they are:
I need to get the yarn so I can start the Easter Basket in class tomorrow! Where did you get your yarn?
It is brown sheep Lambs pride worsted and I got it at shuttles spindles and skeins in Boulder, CO.
Can’t wait to see it when it is done!
